WHY WE EXIST
Mary’s Little Lambs Educare is an ECD registered centre established to provide a loving homely environment with the aim of developing children; aged 18 months to 5 years, to reach their maximum potential
Our focus is to create a learning environment that encourages learning through play. Social constructivist theorist, Lev Vygotsky states that; children learn through social play. Thus, our classrooms are structured in such a way that it allows learners opportunities to learn through play and simultaneously build on their social skills.
We apply the national early learning and development standards (NELD)

​The NELD is a curriculum-related policy initiative focusing primarily on the early learning needs of learners.
The NELD assists in ensuring that children learn in an integrated way.
